Abstract:
The enormous growth in population over the last few decades has resulted in a huge surge in commercialization. Residential, commercial, and industrial space demand has expanded globally due to growing employment possibilities, rising disposable income, increasing economies, and a desire for high-quality living. We have negatively affected the environment and overused resources in our pursuit of progress. Over 40% of the carbon emissions that result from building activities and the construction process are now attributed to the global real estate industry. Promoting lowering our carbon footprint and moving closer to net zero goals will help us start building an industry with a sustainable future.

Brief Content: Introduction to Sustainability management, 17 SDG goals on sustainability, Net-zero energy buildings (Green Building), Importance of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), Key gaps to bridge for reaching net zero. Case studies with projects related to sustainability.
