Brief Profile:
Dr. Nagesh Kini did his Ph.D. in Materials Science, from Materials Research Center, IISc. He has two decades of rich experience in Research & Development, vast experience in technology-evaluation, technology-transfer, product-development, collaborative-research, networking and collaboration. He has widely published research-works to his credits, developed high-technology products, and worked long stints both in academics and industry. He has expertise in diverse materials-synthesis and characterisation techniques.
He is Specialised in flow-batteries, electrolysers, ion-conducting membranes, thermal-management films, Li-ion batteries, fuel cells, hydrogen-storage, nanomaterials-synthesis, besides training, collaborative-research, and higher-education. Trained in Li-ion cell manufacturing by ISRO. Recipient of international research fellowships from prestigious institutes from Japan (JSPS), Germany (Max Planck Institute) and South Korea (SNU). Life member of Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) and Society for Failure Analysis (India). Currently an entrepreneur in energy domain and heads the technology development programme as CTO and Co-founder.
