Research Interests:
My primary research interests are in Reliability and Statistical Quality Control with a Bayesian flavor. However I am also quite interested in Empirical Finance and Financial Econometrics as most of my doctoral and Masters students tend to work in these areas. Other than my own research and student supervision I am also actively involved in industrial consultancy . I also teach a couple of courses. Some of you might find the lecture notes page (some of the files here are incomplete and I am in the process of completing them) useful and interesting, which contains lecture notes on Probability Theory, Frequentist Statistical Inference, Linear Models, Bayesian Statistics, MCMC and a Bayesian Case Study using WinBUGS, at a beginning graduate level.
