Title: ” The India-Japan Collaboration of Startups and Innovation “
Abstract:
The relationship between India and Japan is complementary. India is a young country, while Japan is a mature country. India’s strength lies in software, while Japan’s lies in hardware. The mission of METI and JETRO is to foster open innovation between Indian startups and Japanese large companies, such as Deeptech and GCC, for the long-term, mutual development. At the end of last month, Prime Minister Modi came to Japan and many MOUs and agreements, such as digital partnerships, human resource exchange, and economic security were signed by both the countries. I will review the results of PM Modi’s last visit to Japan, explain the current policies of METI and JETRO, and talk with IISc students about future collaborations
