Brief Profile:
Robert Simon is the Execute Directory of the Master of Science in Computational Finance program at Carnegie Mellon University.

Robert graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1993 with a dual Information Decision Systems and Business degree and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.

Previously, Robert was a Managing Director on the Prime Origination Sales desk at Barclays, based in New York.

Robert has over 28 years of experience in global equity, algo development and prime brokerage markets across trading, sales and financing. Prior to joining Barclays in 2017, he spent 13 years at Citi Capital Markets in various equity and financing roles in New York and Hong Kong. He joined Citi in 2004 on the Program trading desk and went on to run the Program desk in Hong Kong before assuming roles as head of Citi ETF services platform as well as the regional head of their Delta One sales business. Previously, Robert worked at JP Morgan as Head of Program Trading – trading desk. He also held roles in Equities at Schwab Capital Markets in New York.
