INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOP on “Urban Flooding and TRBs in South Asia” – May 13-14, 2024
We are pleased to announce that the University of Manchester and the Indian Institute of Science, under the Joint Research Project TRANSCAPE, are organizing an interdisciplinary workshop on “Urban Flooding and Transboundary River Basins (TRBs) in South Asia.” This event will be held on May 13-14(Monday-Tuesday), 2024, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Venue: Annex Classroom-1, Department of Management Studies, IISc.
This workshop aims to bring together experts, academics, and students from various disciplines to discuss and address the pressing challenges associated with urban flooding and managing transboundary river basins in South Asia. The workshop will feature presentations by renowned speakers, discussions, and interactive sessions designed to foster collaboration.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from experts and connect with peers from various academic fields.
