Abstract

This talk explores Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) can strengthen India’s state capacity by improving the scale, efficiency, accessibility and delivery of public services. However, technological efficiency must be balanced with transparency, accountability, inclusion and citizens’ dignity. The future of Indian democracy depends on combining digital and fiscal innovation with constitutional morality, public trust and democratic civility.
