Abstract
This seminar presents While Quantum Computing advantage has been demonstrated in controlled environments, the real challenge lies in creating industrial impact at scale. This talk explores the path from frontier research to enterprise adoption, discussing where quantum computing can address complex industry problems, what barriers remain to be solved, and how academia and industry can collaborate to accelerate the transition from laboratory breakthroughs to real-world transformation.

Suvjeet Bhowmik is a Senior Program Manager at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, leading global Supply Chain Planning initiatives for Mercedes-Benz. With international experience across Germany, China, India, and global collaborations spanning the United States, South Africa, and Europe, he brings a unique blend of engineering expertise, business leadership, and innovation. Suvjeet currently leads Quantum Computing initiatives within Mercedes-Benz and previously served as the Innovation Ambassador for the Manufacturing Department. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune, along with Engineering and MBA qualifications from Berlin, Germany, and is the author of two patent applications. His passion lies in bridging emerging technologies with real-world industrial applications, helping shape the future of manufacturing and supply chain excellence.
