Research Interest
Urban data platforms, smart city governance, open-source data exchange systems, IoT and cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, computer networking, and data privacy. Applied work spans the design and large-scale deployment of data infrastructure for public good, including the India Urban Data Exchange (IUDX) platform covering 56+ Indian cities. Earlier research at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center focused on high-speed packet switching, distributed algorithms, and network protocol design.
