Abstract
This study aims to develop and validate a comprehensive structural model for Improving the Performance of Ergonomics in Passenger Cars (IP-E-PC), integrating all key ergonomic dimensions with consideration for anthropometric diversity. In today's competitive automotive landscape, ergonomics has emerged as a critical determinant of customer satisfaction and perceived vehicle quality. The research addresses gaps in fragmented ergonomic treatment during early Vehicle Design and Architecture stages, and proposes a framework for prioritising and ranking ergonomic measurement variables considering diverse user anthropometry.
